Hawthorn Football Club

The University of Tasmania Stadium is the proud home of the Hawthorn Football Club. In 2001, the Hawks played their first game at the stadium and have since met rivals throughout each Premiership Season plus pre-season competitions. Under a sponsorship agreement with the Tasmanian Government, the Hawks now play five games annually at the Stadium.

A total of 9,000 Tasmanians are now official members of the Hawks, a club continuing its rich history in Launceston.
