In addition to hosting national and international events, the stadium hosts and supports numerous local community events.

Owned and operated by Stadiums Tasmania, the stadium has a strong commitment to the local community and is a regular venue for senior and junior sporting fixtures, school sports, and a number of expo's, fundraisers and non-sporting events.
