The return of 15-time GRAMMY® winners Foo Fighters – the stadium rock icons bringing their unrivalled live show down under for one night only this summer. Famous for their love of Australia, the news marks the band's first live show in Tasmania since 2015 and their first time ever in Launceston.

Venue Conditions of Entry and Prohibited Items:

Patrons are advised against bringing chairs, pillows, umbrellas, mattresses if queuing early. These items will not be permitted within the venue and cannot be cloaked.

Bags: Only bags no larger than A4 size are permitted. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted. Please note that cloakroom facilities are not available. Patrons carrying larger bags must make alternative arrangements prior to arriving at the venue.

Clear, empty, plastic water bottles are permitted. No reusable glass, metal or hard plastic bottles can be brought into the venue.

Queuing:

Entry to the stadium is only possible via the gate on your ticket. Entry via other gates is not permitted.

Guests with Front GA tickets are permitted to queue outside Gate 11 from 09:00 on Saturday 24 January should they wish. Guests with Rear GA tickets, are permitted to queue outside Gate 5 from 9.00am on Saturday 24 January.

For the wellbeing and safety of our attendees, camping for Foo Fighters is strictly prohibited.

Venue Entry:

Security Screening:

All patrons will be subject to security screening (bag check and wanding) prior to entry. Patrons who refuse to comply will not be permitted into the venue.

Road Closures:

Invermay Road will be closed on event day between Lindsay Street and Forster Street from 12pm. It will re-open when safe to do so following the event.

Road closures will also be in place from the Holbrook Street ends of Dry Street, Bedford Street, Russell Street, Gleadow Street, Robertson Street and Windsor Street.

Local access will be permitted for these streets. A driver’s license with local street address will need to be presented for access.

Event Travel and Parking:

Parking bays along Invermay Road will be closed on event day to prevent delays to the road closure traffic management.

There is no parking available at the venue. Public parking is not available in Northern Inveresk car park.

Patrons needing to travel via vehicle, are encouraged to utilise parking options in the CBD and surrounds, noting operational hours have been extended for this event.

There are existing taxi ranks within a short walking distance in the city, which patrons are encouraged to use.

A designated bus pick‑up and drop‑off zone will be established for patrons travelling from other areas of the state via pre-organised service providers.

Accessible parking is available for patrons at the QVMAG car park. A disability parking permit must be shown, along with your ticket to the event.

To help you travel safely and efficiently to the event, please be aware of the following e‑scooter zone settings:

  • Red shaded areas: No‑go zones. Beam e‑scooters will not operate within these areas.
  • Yellow shaded areas: Slow‑speed zones. Scooters will automatically reduce speed for safety.

The Beam app will display these zones in real time on the day of the event.

Areas marked with red boxes on the event map indicate the main designated e‑scooter parking zones. These locations will be supported by Beam Scooter Marshalls to assist with parking and ensure smooth flow before and after the event.

Merchandise:

On Friday 23 January, a pre-sale will be available outside Gate 11 from 12pm-6pm.

On Saturday 24 January, merchandise outlets will be located:

  • Outside Gate 11 from 12pm
  • In the AIDA Care Car Park on Invermay Road from 12pm
  • Adjacent to the Tram Sheds Function Centre from 12pm
  • Inside Gate 15 from 5pm
  • Inside near Gate 2 from 5pm

Food and Beverage Locations:

A variety of food and beverage options will be available at Gate 11, Gate 14, Gate 15, Carlton Draught Stand, Western Concourse - between Gate 1 and Gate 2, between Gate 2 and Gate 3, Gate 5.

For Front and Rear GA ticket holders, bars will be positioned on the arena. No bottles or cans are permitted on the arena.

Water refill stations will be available around the concourse of the venue and GA Arena. Locations are close to Gate 1, Gate 3, Gate 14, and in the front and back of the GA Arena.

UTAS Stadium is a cashless venue and only card will be accepted.

Smoking:
There are two smoking areas in the venue. Smoking is not permitted outside of these specified smoking areas. Patrons can also scan out of the venue.
